Our Cookridge clinic is based in an old nursing home in the heart of the Cookridge community. Parking for our Cookridge clinic can get busy as it is on road parking only. However, it is readily accessible and there are no parking restrictions on Tinshill Road around the clinic. Please be considerate to our neighbours who live nearby when parking and avoid parking across any driveways. Should you need to park very close, out team ensure we reserve the spot directly outside the surgery for our clients, or in an emergency or if you are carrying a large dog who is critically ill then you may pull up on to the driveway in any space available as it is usually staff cars, and our own ambulance, parked on the driveway to the practice.
We do have steps up to the building in Cookridge. We have in past explored all options around making our clinic fully accessible for wheelchair users, however the ability to add ramps to our front door would cause considerable landscape changes that would not be viable through the council planning departments. Should you need assistance please use the Assistance button at the bottom of these steps.
One of the main reasons we selected our Greengates site was for fully disabled and wheelchair access it provided. Parking facilities are also excellent. We would encourage clients to attend the Greengates surgery if they require wheelchair access.
